AWS is offering a free online course called Math for Machine learning, which can be taken up by interested participants on amazon.com. The course will give participant an understanding of vectors and matrices, linear algebra, probability theorems, univariate calculus, and multivariate calculus as it is needed to understand machine learning completely. The course will be conducted by AWS Machine Learning Instructor Brent Werness. The course is open to anyone who wished to learn the subject.
Participants of the course will get to understand the following concepts over a duration of eight hours:
- Introduction to math for machine learning.
- Vectors.
- Matrices.
- Probability.
- Univariate derivatives.
- Multivariate derivatives.
- Summary.
The intermediate level course also has five quizzes, and will be conducted in English. The website mentions that the courses is only available on desktop and laptop devices at present. These courses were recently made available to users as part of Amazon’s initiate to educate 29 million people by 2025.
